Shree Yantra/Shri Yantra/Sri Yantra 

The Shree Yantra has a divine origin and lineage. Shree Yantra is the symbolic form of all Gods and Goddesses. It shows the origin and formation of the entire Universe. It was possessed by Lord Brahma, the creator of the Universe and praised by Lord Vishnu, the Lord of the Earth. It is connected deeply with the Ancient Art of Vaastu and has been specifically mentioned in the 'Vaastu Shastra'. All constructions based on Vaastu must essentially have Shree Yantra in it.  The Vedas explain Shree Yantra as a scientific, cosmic and planetary energy zone. 

The word 'Shree' is defined as 'one who becomes one with the Almighty everyday of his life and extracts from Him His Divine insight and Supreme powers'. This enables the Shree to become a means of fulfilling all that one wishes and desires in life. 

Maa Mahamaya Tripur Sundari's Shree Yantra is geometrical in its construction and has many circles, triangles, points, lines and angles. In the center of the inner most circle is a point around which are nine triangles, of which 5 triangles point downwards (towards Shakti or power) and four triangles point upwards (towards Shiva).

Downward pointing five triangles symbolize five elements, five sense, five organs, five Tartars and five Birth. Upward pointing four triangles symbolize life, soul, bone-marrow and genes. Both four upward and five downward triangles are representative of nine basic instincts. 

In the Shree Yantra there is one petalled lotus and another 16-petalled lotus. 8-Petalled lotus inside and 16-petalled lotus outside. Together they constitute the Shree Yantra. The upward triangle indicates fire element, circles indicate Air, points indicate Sky, base indicates Earth and downward triangles indicate Water. The entire Shree Yantra shows the complete life cycle of the Universe. Since these five elements are the basis of Vaastu Shastra, by keeping the Shree Yantra in the house, office or building, all Vaastu faults are taken care of and there is automatic Vaastu Vikas.

Shree Yantra is the source of supreme energy and energy is nothing but another form of element in the shape of waves and rays. Shree Yantra is highly sensitive and has magnificent magnetic powers. They are said to be a divine store-house of energy which pick up particular cosmic ray wave emitted by the planets and other universal objects and transform them into constructive vibrations. These are then transmitted to the surroundings where the Shree Yantra is placed, thus destroying all destructive forces within the vicinity.
